My traffic is brought by the virilization technique as well as searches. Now one gone, I will know which actually bring the traffic the most.

Christmas : Expect Traffic And Adsense Drop

Today I am getting a little bit worried regarding my Adsense because I expect the earning as well as the traffic to become normal on 26th December. My earning and traffic are too low until the point that I decided to make a research... and I found that I am not the only one. :D

Many have written that the worst Adsense earnings are from the 23rd of December until the 2nd of January

And you know what? My traffic start to drop on 23rd december! So it is a fact for me!

Reason? It is obvious. It is Christmas, time to make preparations and gather around with your family members. Then extend the holidays until 1 January. So no computer, no internet. Only geeks stay in front of the computer even at these days.

Conclusion : If you are experiencing low adsense and traffic on Christmas, don't worry. Most of adsense publishers and webmasters are experiencing the same thing. Expect your traffic and earnings to return back to normal on 2nd January.

All problems fixed - Americans Balik Kampung?

Yup, all 7 main core problems have been fixed. Now I do not need to worry about errors and can let it run on itself.

BTW, it seems my traffic is slowing down. Since my traffic 80 - 90% are americans, are they balik kampung to celebrate christmas? Hurm... Need to analyze the graph for this Christmas week. Quite interesting.

Adsense Western Union Withdrawal Limit

Today I found 'old' news regarding how much you can withdraw from Adsense using Western Union.

So what's the limit to withdraw money from you adsense?
The answer is : no limit at all

The funny thing is, for the past 1 year, I believe that if I exceed USD2200, I cannot withdraw from Adsense using western union and need to use check (not to mention the fees). Lolz. Need to subscribe to google Adsense blog starting today.

2 problems solved, 5 more to go

During this period (fixing the codes), I think I lost a couple of bucks. Nevermind.

It is better to solve the coding problem and lose some money now than waiting for things to get worst in the future when the number of visitors is higher than today (hopefully).

More visitors = more money. So if I fix later = I lose more money

Even though it just a couple of bucks, still feeling stress and sad. Lol.

Upgrading my website

Currently upgrading my website and it takes more time that what I expect. Need to close down the website for a moment. I really hate this cause no $$$ will come in. Whatever it is, once I upgrade the website, it will ensure better visitors experience. :)

Btw, today facebook reunite me with my old primary school friends. I am really shocked how puberty changed us all. It seems the hawt people (during adolescent) period, can turn to shockingly different (not hawt anymore) person. Some of them turned fat and if I meet them at streets, I definitely will not recognize them.

My advice to school boys and girls... don't take love seriously because you don't know what hormone will do to your lover. Hehe. Better wait until you are 20 something. Lolz.

Christmas in 5 days

No, I am not a christian but 25 december reminds me something important which is on Christmas week last year, I found this great idea of getting money passively from the internet using Adsense. It has been a year now! Hope for the best in 2010!

Thank you God for giving me the idea.

I ditched the CPM program

Yesterday I decided to ditch the program until they solved all the codes. It is a funny thing they do not make the codes easy to implement in the first place. Now going back to adsense. Until they resolved all the codes, I will use the codes.

*This december seems a good month for me. Expecting higher adsense earnings compared to last month :D

I still remember the tmnet streamyx ads which is shows a guy with a sport car but the guy only got P and can't drive it. Then the catchy phrase "why trust the beginners?" or something like that.

This happens to me. It seems that the company does has copy and paste approach like adsense does. Results? Chaos. The Ads is still appearing but the problem is, they said I need to do this and that to make it more targeted.

They gave me bunch of javascripts which I don't understand. I asked them to 'teach' me how to install this code and it take a long time to reply (now currently waiting for their reply).

The support system is good it just that they lack experience. But never mind, I am still waiting for their reply and see how it goes after this.

Received Invitation For a CPM Program

Last Friday, I got invitation to join a not so famous CPM program. First I was sceptic and ignore it but after the representative told me yesterday that I can earn xxx which is more than Adsense, I give it a try. Moreover, they said one of their clients manage to rip USD1000 in two days (of course the publisher get a very huge amoung of traffic per day), so maybe my luck is there.

They told me that I can put their ads on the same page as Adsense and Adsense allows that too (link), so why not give it a shot.

I haven't hit 1000 yet. Hope they will keep their promises. Whatever it is, not going to abandon Adsense coz Adsense rawks!

Sad. But. So.

The new project which I spent around 200 hours to develop it do not receive good respond.

But :
The cpc is quite okay.

So :
It is the waiting game. Sometimes, some websites become gold in a few months (or even years). So I am just waiting and hope that will happen to this project somewhere in the future.

Reduced my website page size by 50%

Since my project finish earlier than I expected, there is something I really wanted to do and I have accomplished it today which is redesign my webpage. Previously, it was very old dull and boring looking, not to mention the size which quite big.

Google.com, gmail.com, facebook and adsense webpages give me inspiration for this latest design which are: fast, smooth, small size, simple, white and blue.

I removed all the craps and managed to get 50% reduction in my webpage size.

With this size, the bandwidth should cut by 50% which means my maximum potential earning with the webhosting package that I use is doubled. But what's more important are my visitors don't have to wait long for the page to load and the adsense blends well with the page.

That's all. Need to concentrate on my studies after this.

'Today's Earnings' to 'Today's Estimated Earnings'

Just checking my Adsense and I found the interface to be a little bit crowded than usual. Upon looking closely, found that Adsense changed 'Today's Earnings' to 'Today's Estimated Earnings', which I think is more accurate coz sometimes, I noticed that my earnings decreased.

Example : at 1pm $1. But when I open back $0.97.

I heard this phenomenon is caused by multiple clicks etc. Google Adsense will detect such click to prevent advertisers from losing and getting poor quality traffic.

With the change, I think there should be no more complain of earning vanished etc. Actually, google has told about this on the TOS but some people don't fancy reading the TOS and complain.

Progress : 97%

I have finally completed the project (am I efficient?) although I predict I need one more or two more week. Now just want to do some preparation for launching plus promotion. After that will hit the the 'launch' button.

This is my most ambitious project yet, hope it will be a success and bring lots of money.

Since I have 'wasted' a lot of time with this project, I think for the next few years there would not be any new projects because I want to concentrate on my studies.

200 hours is not a small amount of time but I believe in users satisfaction. If you don't deliver something good, they wont come back. I really gamble a lot my time for studies for $$$. Lol.

Will the wheel stop? I pray it will keep on moving and provide me with cool passive income.

I thought I can finish and launch my project in this week but now it seems it will not happen. I can if I want but that will put too much pressure on me.

Maybe next week or after a few weeks.

Although it will take a lot of time, I think it is worth it because I belive people will always revisit quality websites.

I believe in visitors satisfaction.

That's roughly how much time I have spent for this project. This is my most ambitious project so far.

If it works, I think my Adsense earnings will increase drastically :D

However, that is just my expectations. Hope it will work. If not, those 200 hours will be just a waste. But it is good to try coz I will not feel satisfied until I turn my idea into reality. Work or not is a different story.

Now just want to finalize things and prepare for promotions.

November 2009 Post Mortem

Here's my Adsense earnings for November 2009. $113.27 ($45.94 decreased compared to previous month earnings!)

Lastly, this is my unique visitors and page loads graph. Around 1000 increase for both when compared to last month. Interesting is, after 17th November 2009, my visitors and page loads started to climb.


Conclusion :
1. My expectations for this month was wrong. (Refer here)
2. Adsense earnings is not necessaryly in direct proportion with number of visitors and page loads.

To make it short : I have stop promoting and updating my website. I want to test my theory which is 'a useful website will always draw visitors, even if you don't update your website'.

Main question : Will the number of visitors of my website increase and survive without any updates?

The answer is : YES! Check out my weekly stats for the past 12 weeks!


Analysis :
1. W35 - W38 : The effect of promotion begins to wear off
2. W39 - W45 : Equilibrium. Don't know why this happened.
3. W46 - W48 : Finally the number of visitors begin to rise and last week (W48) beats the last 12 weeks performance! But still can't catch up with W35, but by willing of good, something it may happen!

However, despite the increase of visitors and pageloads, my Adsense for this month can't beat last month earnings. Due to not very relevant ads I guess. Whatever it is, nothing beats free money. :)

Innocent Moves

Just watched Searching for Bobby Fischer (1993) movie and it is really an eye opener. It teaches me not to push myself too hard. For the past 1 month, I have been 'wasting' hours my time developing and experimenting new technique to increase my earnings.

When I watched this movie, I realized how obsessed I am with Adsense and how obsessed I want to beat my old record. Maybe I should concentrate on my studies and take Adsense lightly. Besides, the amount of money I got per month not enough to live on, why channel a lot of energy to Adsense? lolz.

No doubt I really want prove and 'beat' other masters in Adsense with my 'don't work to get money with Adsense' technique, but nevertheless, maybe I should stop for a while, take a deep breath and go outside like I used to be.

My first intention when I joined adsense was to support my food and drinks. I have achieve that. But it seems now I got drifted away and push my self too hard... I need a reset. Whatever it is, here a memorable quote from the movie.

Maybe it's better not to be the best. Then you can lose and it's OK.

The correct explanation why your adsense clicks are less than exit links in statcounter

Now I found the correct explanation why my total Adsense clicks are less than total exit links in statcounter!

The main culprit is : Link Ads.

When someone click any link in link ads, he or she will be redirected to a page where ads are displayed. If he or she click links in the page, only then you will get paid. If he or she hit back, close the window or type new url address in the browser, no earning for you.

I found this explanation after I clicked link ads for the first time two days ago at this one website. (I did not know how exactly link ads work before, I just publish. Lolz).

You are able to know whether someone click link ads or not by 'reading' the exit links. If you found something like output=html in the exit links, this means he or she clicked link ads.

Although I am Adsense publisher for around 3 years now, I rarely click Adsense. I still remember, until today, I only click Adsense 2 times (1 text ads and 1 link ads). Lolz.

That's all. Case closed.

Regarding Statcounter Exit Links and Adsense earning difference

Regarding my theory on sudden decrease of adsense earnings, I postulated that "Google will repay you back in few days and you will see sudden increase in adsense earnings".

I made theory based on last month earnings graph. Besides the 'exit links' (mean someone clicks the ads) which appears a lot of time make me believe that adsense is not accurate and thus, make mistakes all the time.

But it is not true after all. I found this here at Google Adsense forum (link) and that explains the exit links issue.

Hi, one Possible reason is that if the same people are clicking on your ads on days 2 and 3 as they were for day 1 then these would be classed by Googles program as INVALID clicks as it looks quite suspicious that the same person would do that. (this is only an example I'm making no claims of any kind ... there are lots of reasons for invalid clicks which we are not meant to go into details about so I'll just leave you with that one example.)

5 days is a very short timeframe to be worried about the odd click here and there, wait a few months and see how the stats pan out over time, in the short term it is more than likely that the visitors are those you know or people who have been told of your site rather than surfers or referrals. Dont' be in such a rush to achieve things, all things come to those who wait (c) Guinness 2006

Don't get it?
1. Some click an ad on the first day. You get the money.
2. Some click on the same ad on the second and third day. Invalid clicks. You don't get the money.

Thus, if you earnings suddenly drop : There is no relevent ads appearing
And if there are many adsense exit links but you don't earn anything : some click the same ad(s)

$1000 in my Adsense

I've restrained myself from cashing out my Adsense earnings for 4 months and I've finally hit $1000 today. :)


Actually, my bank is not near to my place and I don't use the road where the bank is situated often. Thus, it is kinda hard for me to cash out. To make things worst, I don't have time during office hour.

There are other banks that provide Western Union service near to my place but I usually bank in my money once I withdraw my earnings. So no paper money transaction takes place. Safe and secure.

Regarding the theory mentioned on previous post, please give some time (around early next month) because I need time to observe and make a conclusion.

Today's weird. Earnings suddenly drop and so as earnings, but visitors number is roughly the same.

I bet you guys have experienced the same things too right?

But I got a new theory why this is happening and this probably will explain why my previous month's earning sucks at the beginning.

Why earnings for September 2009 decreased? I did promotion from April 2009 to August 2009. September no more promotion => visitor visits drop => page loads drop => earnings drop. But it's time to test my theory right? Can the 'wheel' rotates by itself? Let's see. Hope it works. Wish me luck.


*Sorry cant reveal the number of visits and page loads. If I show them to you, you will be able to calculate the ecpm etc... which I don't want because I don't want to violate google Adsense TOS accidentally. lolz.

My concept : It's about getting rich

From comments given, many say I need to make a lot of blogs in order to get enough money. Then the coming Christmas, I should make some niche research. I thank you all for your ideas. I really appreciate it. I really do. But my concept is different.

Maybe some of you don't quite understand my concept. Since I have time to kill, I drew this. Here's what most of us is trying to do (see pic below), blogging or working for money. The problem is, you need to constantly update your blog (or make research) to keep visitors coming (as well as the money). So there will be this 'responsibility' to update the blog. You need to work (to update, make research etc) in order to get money. You work for money (which I don't want).


My concept on the other hand is to make the money work for me. First thing is to get an idea to create something very useful or cool. Then I will evaluate whether this thing can walk by itself and whether it can viralize by itself. After these 2 conditions are met, I will proceed with the idea and do the programming.

Next step is to publish and promote. When something is useful, people will tell others (viralize). Theoritically, number visitors will increase until it reach equilibrium and due to it's usefulness, people will use it frequently. I don't need to update anything and the best thing is (hopefully) the money flows without me updating or working on anything. Then the process repeats but the circle does not return back to me like above. So I have a lot of free time to enjoy and money works for me (that's what we call passive income!).


You see, it is not about getting a lot of money. It is about trying to get rich and financially free, trying to enjoy your life and trying to spend your time as minimum as you can with work. Even if if the websites fail after few years, or if the concept fails, I am not going to get frustrated because I spent very little time in front of the computer. I only spent few hours or days in the beginning (programming).

So I hope you understand my concept. Wish me luck. :D

Why Adsense and Analytics are inaccurate and differ from each other?

The main question is "Why Adsense and Analytics are inaccurate and differ from each other?"

Actually the reason (for me) is simple. Humans are not perfect so as their programming. Even if the programming is perfect, many things can happen.

The users might managed to 'send' information to and load ads from Google Adsense but did not manage to 'exchanging data' between analytics coz he clicked the stop button (I did this quite often some time ago because Google Analytics made my firefox to run slow). Many things can happen in this life.

Besides, some firefox users block Adsense ads using "Adblock Plus" add-on. So there will be 'false' inaccuracy too.

Although I do not integrate my Adsense with Analytics, I am not going to get shock if the information is different from each other. Besides, my Adsense, Statcounter and webalizer (own web server log analysis program integrated with my hosting package) show different analysis from each other but not very different. So it is a normal thing.

And for the main question why after 10 months still different result... hurm, as someone who knows a little bit about internet pogramming, all I can say it, it is easy to ask to do this and that, it is easy to imagine and to complaint, but doing the programming and turn it into a reality is a mind blowing process.

Besides, Mr Google tells us clearly on both Adsense and Analytics TOS that inaccuracy may occur. So accept it. If you don't like it, you must like it because you have agreed to the TOS when you signed up for the service. Remember? Lolz.

Last but not least

The graph clearly shows that as per Adsense, the earnings are close to 11.8 units, while, as per Analytics, it drops to 6.7 units.

As long as the earnings in Adsense is higher than Analytics, isn't it is a good thing? If Analytics is higher than Adsense, then that's an issue. XD

Concern on breaking Adsense TOS

I did worry about getting ban from google because of revealing my earnings. But of course I am not that stupid by not reading TOS. I've made some research and here's what I found.

Then common sense. Do you know who is this guy? He is Joel Comm. Adsense Guru. He has revealed to the world his Adsense earnings and still doing fine until now. If revealing earnings is prohibited, Joel Comm will cry and disappear from the Adsense world long time ago.

Today's earning increased by 70% from yesterday. Quite happy.

Weird September 11

This september is weird. Started this september with bad earnings but on september 11, my earnings for the next 6 days are getting better. I feel guiltily happy coz I am cheering when on other part of the world, people are mourning for the twin tower tragedy which leads to war in Iraq and Afghanistan which more and more people getting killed everyday.

Nevertheless, I hope there will be peace in this world. Stop war. It's stupid.

Don't look at the september 17th earning coz it's today and I snapped in just after 16 september ended. Of course there will be no earning for 17th september yet.

Hurm, now I am on a new project to increase my website traffic. Wish me luck.

Adsense Going Up and My Addiction to Adsense

It seems my Adsense cpc is increased so as my income. Hurm, Adsense does hard to explain.

Whatever it is, I am addicted to Adsense.

I want to try not to open my Adsense for 10 days.

I don't really care about my Adsense coz my websites do not require me to attend it everyday like blog which means there is nothing I can do.

I hope I can cure my addiction. :D

But my Statcounter told me that I got more than 4 clicks. For your information, statcounter can detect adsense clicks. It will appear as 'exit link'.

Who should I trust?

Last Month (August 2009) Adsense Earnings

Last 3 days of August were weird days. My earnings suddenly drop despite the same page impression. Probably ads that gave me good earnings no longer there. Adsense is really frustrating at some point.

If you noticed, the earning details, the total is not the same one with the one above. This is because I view the details too early.

In Adsense, you need to wait couple of hours to get the final earnings. Don't worry, it never goes down.

Took me 2 years to get my first USD100 in google Adsense (and my first payout too). But things have changed. Anyway, how's yours?

One thing for sure, I have enjoyed the USD100 in less than a week. Lolz.

Tell Me Why Google Adsense Please?

After big surplus 2 days ago, here's my income for yesterday.



I'm so sad and confused. What actually went wrong? I don't change anything so why did my google adsense cost per click dropped significantly after shoot up significantly 2 days ago?

I wonder why? Does anybody have the answers?

Awesome Yesterday

Made some website optimization 2 days ago and guess what? My earning increased 3 times than normally I get (6USD)!


Nevertheless, can't be happy too early. Need to monitor for 1 month than I can say I am quite safe.

Can't wait to see how today will perform.

• Unique visitors remain the same
• But my Adsense earnings stays the same (weird, but good?)

I'm a bit worried. Although my Adsense don't really change and stay constant and stable, we should know that Adsense earnings and traffic is interrelated.

For the magic thingy? Still under development.

Passive income is not part time income.

It is income you get by doing nothing.

Active income = when you work for money

I don't like to work for something.

I want people or machines to work for me.

I want to enjoy my life.

I got this website which draws a lot of visitors and I don't need to update the website like blogs.

So, I got money doing nothing from Adsense = I am earning passive income.

Which means I am earning passive income from Adsense.

My Best Adsense Earnings in One Day

This is what I got in one day. I think I can get rich from Adsense.


But sadly, that's was the best day. Not everyday. My income graph from adsense is not linear or even continuously going up. Sometimes it goes up and sometimes it goes down.

My average income is USD6 dollar. (Damn! How do some people manage to get USD 80 ++ everday?)

Need to concentrate on SEO optimization as well as driving huge traffic.
